What Experienced Surrogates Want to Know First

Comprehensive Choice Compensation Package

Choice believes surrogates desire competitive compensation, and intended parents deserve a responsible, affordable path to grow their families. Choice GC compensation is built into our inclusive, agency-assured financial program for parents.

Experienced Base, Created With Trish

Experienced GCs receive a higher base than first-time GCs. Your experienced base is created with Trish after your application and prior journey history are reviewed.

Simple, Predictable Payments

In addition to base compensation, Choice includes a $500 monthly allowance starting at match confirmation with no limit through delivery, $5,000 at legal clearance, and $5,000 for postpartum recovery after delivery. Complication provisions are also included in the full Choice GC package.

Prescreened Before Match

Choice completes records review, mental health assessment, background checks, insurance review, and IVF physician records approval before match.

Simple Legal: You Select Your Attorney

The GC compensation package is set before profile presentation and is not negotiated between the GC and IPs, or back and forth between attorneys, during the contract stage. You select your own counsel for independent legal representation.

Expert Match Guidance

Returning surrogates often know what they are looking for when choosing again. Trish personally recommends each potential match and facilitates the match meeting.

When Can Experienced Surrogates Apply Again?

Whether your previous surrogacy was with Choice, another agency, or independently arranged, experienced gestational carriers may apply when they are approximately six months postpartum. If you are still breastfeeding or pumping, Choice can talk through timing during your Education Info Session, including your weaning plan and when IVF medical screening may be appropriate
Your Education Info Session with Trish will review:

  Your timing and current circumstances

   Your previous surrogacy experience

   Your pregnancy and delivery history

   Your matching preferences

   Your financial package

How Choice works, if you are new to our agency

Competitive Compensation. Responsible Surrogacy.

Choice offers competitive compensation, including our commitment to BEST a comparable written benefit package by $5,000. That does not mean we are less selective, moving fast for the wrong reasons, or willing to lower medical, psychological, agency, or industry standards. Choice follows ASRM guidelines and works with credible, well-versed third-party reproductive facilities, with final medical clearance determined by the IVF physician. If you have been declined elsewhere because of a medical, psychological, or guideline concern, Choice holds the same standards. Competitive compensation should support responsible surrogacy, not replace it.

After One Journey, You Notice the Difference

You can tell when an agency is only coordinating details versus genuinely guiding the experience. At Choice, intended parents value the confidence of an experienced GC, while Choice continues to guide the relationship from match through delivery. Her experience is respected without becoming the foundation the process depends on. The right support changes the way the process feels.

Owner-Led From Screening Through Delivery

Instead of a coordinator-led experience, Choice gives you senior-level handling from the start. Your day-to-day process is managed by Choice’s Program Manager, with key decisions made at the owner level by professionals who have a real stake in how everything proceeds.

Trish, the owner of Choice Surrogacy, personally meets with each GC during the Education Info Session and with intended parents during their consultation. Trish personally recommends each potential match and facilitates the match meeting.

Chloe, Choice’s Program Manager, is your primary point of contact from screening through delivery.

You can reach the Choice team by chat, email, or phone, with 24/7 availability when the journey needs it.

Surrogates often say working with Trish and Chloe feels like family — backed by decades of direct professional surrogacy experience.

Surrogate’s Supported Journey with Choice

"My experience with Choice Surrogacy has been nothing short of incredible. From day one, Trish and Chloe guided me through every step of the journey with kindness, encouragement, and unwavering support. They checked in frequently, made themselves readily available whenever I had questions, and always made sure there wasn't a single thing I needed. What meant the most to me though was how personal the experience felt. I was never treated like just another surrogate on their list. They took the time to get to know me as an individual, genuinely cared about my well being, and celebrated each milestone alongside me and my IPs. At the same time, they fostered such a wonderful sense of community that I felt like I was part of something bigger—a family. The relationships I've built through Choice Surrogacy are something I'll always be grateful for, and I couldn't imagine having taken this journey with any other agency."

How Choice Safeguards Surrogacy Program Funds

Choice administers client expense accounts through our agency-assured financial program for intended parents.

This is not the same as the traditional agency-managed, in-house trust account/escrow model. Choice developed and manages a comprehensive surrogacy financial program designed for the realities of the journey.

Parents sign and commit to the program only after a confirmed match with you, then fund it through three inclusive payments tied to the successful completion of key milestones.

Within that structure, Choice manages covered surrogacy costs, including the GC compensation package as set in the Gestational Surrogate Agreement. If covered costs exceed the inclusive program design, Choice is responsible for the shortfall.

Choice has never had a surrogate miss a compensation payment or have a surrogate bill go unpaid.

Why Choice Is Different

Matching Designed to Move Forward

Choice works with intended parents who have powerfully chosen Choice as their family-building partner.
Before the matching process begins, intended parents are reviewed for readiness, including background checks, mental health consultation, and the quality and testing of their frozen embryos.
For gestational carriers, Choice completes the major prescreening work before match, including records review, mental health assessment, background check, insurance review, and IVF physician records approval.
Once a potential fit is identified and the intended parents’ IVF physician has approved the gestational carrier’s OB and delivery records, Trish facilitates the introduction and match meeting.
The major steps left after match are in-person IVF medical clearance and legal contracts.
Designed to avoid disappointing false starts before the match ever begins.

Questions Before You Apply Again

When Can I Apply Again After a Surrogate Delivery?

Experienced GCs may generally apply when they are approximately six months postpartum.

If you are breastfeeding or pumping, timing may depend on your weaning plan and when IVF medical screening may be appropriate.

IVF medical-screening timing may also depend on your delivery type, recovery, records, menstrual cycle, and birth control.

What Could Rule Me Out From Being a Surrogate Again?

Final medical clearance is determined by the IVF physician.

Potential rule-outs may include serious pregnancy or delivery complications, certain histories of preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, significant bleeding or transfusion concerns, severe preterm delivery, current psychotropic medication use, or other health concerns that make another pregnancy unsafe.

Choice also reviews age, total prior births, C-section history, mental health readiness, family support, communication readiness, and records approval.

Why Choice Is Not a Typical Surrogacy Agency

Trish Taylor and the Taylor family have long-standing ties to the assisted reproduction industry and family-building community.

Trish has been professionally involved in surrogacy and assisted reproduction since 1993, long before surrogacy became a crowded, competitive industry.

As surrogacy has changed, Choice has remained owner-led, deeply experienced, and personally connected to the families and surrogates we serve.
